About Denver Kids: In 1946, Denver Public Schools (DPS) and the Rotary Club of Denver partnered to form Denver Boys with the purpose of providing academic support, mentorship, and job skills for boys who were dropping out of school to work and provide for their families when their fathers did not return from WWII. Denver Girls was founded in 1970 to follow the same academic and mentor support model. In 1993, Denver Kids became the merged entities of Denver Boys and DenverGirls to consolidate programs and funding. Our unique public/private partnership with DPS continues today. Position Summary: The Data Coordinator ensures data integrity across all Denver Kids programs - Advising, Mentoring, and the Youth Pathways Program. The Data Coordinator has the ability to analyze and present data trends for program improvements and experience in managing data integrity and accuracy in databases. The Data Coordinator works collaboratively with multiple teams, including leadership, program managers, and stakeholders, including supporting grant evaluation, funding data, and program improvements while ensuring clear and effective communication.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management

● Maintain and track student consent forms, enrollment data, transitions, and exit processes across programs.

● Ensure data accuracy and integrity within all platforms such as Infinite Campus andGoogle Suite

● Collect and document monthly student engagement data, including participation rates, advising/mentoring sessions, and program involvement.

● Partner with the Director of Learning & Evaluation to streamline and automate data entry workflows where feasible.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

● Assist in developing standardized dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.

● Support the Director of Learning and Evaluation in refining data tracking templates, providing actionable insights into program effectiveness.

● Generate data-driven reports on engagement, consent tracking, enrollment trends, transitions, and exit processes.

Supporting Program Assessment & Evaluation

● Collaborate on the program assessment framework that tracks key performance indicators related to student success and engagement.

● Assist in coordinating the annual program review, ensuring staff and student input are reflected in data-driven decision-making processes.

● Work with leadership to continuously improve data collection methods, fostering accountability and informed decision-making.

General

● Adhere to Denver Kids’ Policies and Procedures, inclusive of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) practices, as well as ethical standards of the field

● Work collaboratively in a team-based setting

● Participate in leadership/professional development including on-going training

● Flexibility to take on or support other responsibilities across the organization

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in data management, education, nonprofit administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

● Experience with data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation in nonprofit, education, or youth development settings.

● Proficiency in Infinite Campus (desired) and data visualization tools.

● Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (specifically Sheets and Looker Studio).

● Familiarity with funding and grant data collection is a plus.

Working Conditions:

● Urban city and school district

● Working with Denver Public School (DPS) students and families who may or may not face circumstances, including but not limited to, poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, and immigration

● Driving to and from schools, events and/or other local entities as necessary

● Regular working hours Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional evenings and weekends

● Occasionally transport students for Denver Kids events
