Job Title: Educational SEL Counselor - Far Northeast Denver Community

Job Classification: Full Time, Exempt

Reports to: Program Manager 

Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Summary:

Denver Kids is currently seeking an Educational SEL Counselor to work in the Far Northeast Denver community. This position plays a key role in the intervention strategy of Denver Kids, Inc. The Educational SEL Counselor will work directly with young people in DPS. The Educational SEL Counselor will work with school partner staff, ensuring a team-based approach. The Educational SEL Counselor is a coach and advocate, working closely with the youth, mentor, family and school to ensure wrap-around support is provided. In addition, the Educational SEL Counselor may facilitate social-emotional groups and attend mentoring community meetings.

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. Salary range is $46,000.00-$50,000.00 with competitive benefits and time off package.
